Oakley, Gucci, Dior, Fysh, Roots, and Guess. Our experienced opticians will help to determine the right shape and style for your face shape. Children have a wide selection of frames including Guess, XGames, Disney and Superflex featuring a variety of colours and shapes.
Lenses & coatings:
Whistler Eye Clinic is dedicated to providing the best lens for optimal vision quality. Our finishing lab is in house which allows us to make your glasses and get them to you faster. Our quality perscription lenses include:
- Airwear- a lighter, thinner lens optimal for children as it is impact resistant
- High index- these lenses range from 1.6-1.74 index which is determined based on the corrective power of the prescription. All high index lenses have a high contrast, anti-reflective, hydrophobic coating to allow for highest light transmission
- Progressive lenses- Our licensed opticians determine the best type of progressive lens for the corrective power of the prescription, frame type, shape, vertex distance and pupillary distance (PD)
- Transitions- this lens is clear inside and darkens in your preferred grey or brown option when uv rays come in contact with the lens. As windshields have a built in UV-filter, conventional Transitions will not be darkest in the car
- Transitions Xtra Active- Holds a slight tint inside and darkens in the car as this lens will activate with less UV rays exposure than conventional Transitions
- High Contrast Coating-lenses will be hydrophobic, anti-reflective, and scratch resistant to provide the best light transmission. The more light transmission into the eye the better vision is achieved. Cosmetically these lenses provide a more clear appearance of your eyes, and do not reflect light in pictures compared to a conventional lens without a high contrast coating

We carry a fantastic selection of sun/sport glasses including Oakley, Maui Jim, Dior, Adidas, Ryders and more; many of these can be made to your prescription.
Safety Glasses:
Our safety glasses are Z87 approved and safety stamped with polycarbonate lenses to provide impact resistant protection.

All frames have a one year warranty against defects –all coatings have a 2 year warranty against defects -every prescription is verified from your records to ensure your best possible vision. |
